The front mudguard ( fender ) on my CB 750 A Hondamatic painted green with gold pinstripes ( Japanese Market ) is in need of renovation. So whilst I do this I was looking at fitting an USA spec chrome unit for now.

A UK importer of American spec Japanese bikes sells used chrome mudguards but they are more expensive for the Hondamatic than any other mudguard they sell and everyone I have looked at has dents or are rusty.

The 750 Hondamatic mudguard looks like the one also fitted to the early Gold Wing ( plain Jane) so may I ask will the Goldwing mudguard fit the Hondamatic. ?
The Goldwing units are less expensive than the 750A and for some reason have less dents or damage. I want to keep using the bike while I repair my own green painted unit, the heavy metal mudguard acts as a fork brace .
Has anyone fitted a chrome Gold Wing fender to a 750 Hondamatic.

I think that maybe you're out of luck with that one.
The forks on the CB750A would seem to be related to the CB750F/F1 and also the K7/K8.
Mudguard mount holes are staggered like the earlier 750 forks, so I'm guessing that you've got loads of used mudguards to go at, but the styling will be slightly wrong for your model.
Depends on how much originality means to you, personally, I think it would look fine.
