frame-mounted OKI Spark Units and Rectifier

Now in the process of re-assembling my electrical, I have relocated some of the items: The two OKI spark units and the rectifier.

Question: Do these units need to be insulated, or can I mount directly on the frame without insulation ? I am not sure if they use the frame's ground polarity to function.
