Cheers Graham !Bit of a sore point for me this one after I sent my legs off for hardchroming and the company seems to have gone bust, these fork tubes are indeed 580mm x 35mm, I currently have K6 forks on mine so I can move it around, the F1 fork stanchions are like hens teeth, new ones are manufactured in Italy but are about £400 each!!
The other aspect is the diameter of the bore in the bottom of the leg for the oil stop which is different to the K model forks, one of the US CB750 forums has a table of part numbers and dimensions for cross reference but nothing crosses with the F1, another unique part.
I did put up a question on this forum a few months back, don't know if you've seen it?

I wonder if the F2 oil locks might swap over too ?F2 tubes might fit but you might need the matching oil locks doubt if the 5mm difference will be noticeable.

Hmmmm.Found these https://www.wrs.it/en/fork-tubes/19...med-honda-cb-750-f1-super-sport-750-1976.html just over £300 the pair free delivery from Italy, best price I've found so far.

By the same definition, all fork tubes on Japanese bikes are supposed to be hard chrome, but I think we all know that it's not of the same quality you would find on a good industrial hydraulic ram cylinder. These legs are hard chromed, very different to decorative chrome plating, I worked offshore with Itallian built hydraulic cranes and never had any chrome plating failures on the hydraulic rams even with regular drenching in salt water.
I'm taking some stuff to be chromed this week so will get their opinion before I pull the trigger but my options are now very limited due to circumstances beyond my control.
