I’m not new to bikes but never owned the bike of my teenage dreams, a CB 750. I’ve located an original bike in excellent condition ready to ride and fondle. Does anyone know of a trusted CB technician that can provide technical performance care in the Kansas City area? Carbs etc! Also, what should I know relative to the downside of maintaining a 1973 bike? My first post here. Thanks all!

DRHRider, all of the maintenance is stuff you can learn. And really, you should. Taking the carbs apart to clean them and sync them helps you understand the fuel delivery and you will become a better troubleshooter. Adjusting cam chain tension, valve adjustments, some electrical, etc. All will be beneficial if you want to own this bike for many years.
And with the expertise of some forum members here, you're in good hands.
But if you need an experienced tech to look the bike over before you buy, I get that.
Good luck on the purchase!
