Exhaust pipes

Can not get left side pipes to line up properly. Whenever I tighten the pipes at cylinder head they move causing the kick stand to shift position. Are the inner and outer pipes the same or are they different?

This is a CB750C (what year?) with original 4 into 4 exhaust? Post some pictures?

The bike is 1981 with 4 into 2 exhaust. Will post pictures tomorrow.
