Exhaust Pipes

Looking into purchasing stock reproduction pipes for K4. Looked at sites such as 4 into 1, Vintage 750 Parts, or Everett Motorsports among others. I know they are expensive but wondering about the quality of product. Any first hand experience on subject? As always thanks for any input on subject.

David Silver Spares is a good place to get these pipes too. They currently have two options. Yamiya makes excellent pipes.

I got a set of earlier style No Numbers for my K4 from Yamiya. They're gorgeous. They carry Lotus Root, No Numbers and the HM300 versions.
I believe anything CMSNL or DS or any of the other online shops sell as 'Japanese reproductions,' are from them or at least the same supplier.

I have looked at the Yamiya site also, I see where Yamiya states taking reservations. Was it a long wait for the exhaust and was shipping expensive. I am in the US.

I have ordered direct from Yamiya several times and items typically arrive within a week. Shipping is expensive. I paid a few hundred dollars for a complete body set and pipes. If you order from David Silver Spares, shipping is about $20.00.

I'm in the US too. I waited a bit for the pipes, but I wasn't in a rush as my bike was still completely apart. Was also on the list for a Freedom Green body set which took several months to stock. Shipping from them is always about a week. I've ordered just about every nut and bolt from Yamiya or CMS too and I always seem to wait longer for stuff coming from shops within the US or Canada, so any extra I might pay is worth it. I've also compared some stuff across sellers and ultimately it all seems to be about the same in the end.
