I’m looking to change up the current exhaust on my 1974 CB 750. It had (has) drape pipes (2 into 1) when I bought it in 2024 and they were just too loud. I fabricated some noise suppressors out of perforated stock and it made them more tolerable but now am looking for a more permanent solution. It seems that OEM four into four are just beyond my justification price wise. I’d love to have them but just can’t justify them from the cost factor. I’m reluctant to jump into a header yet but was open to any suggestions of modifications that can be made to the existing pipes like getting upswept mufflers or something like that..
