Hi, my CB750c has been playing me around. After diagnosis of a faulty rotor I changed it along with the stator and regulator. I've just put a new battery on but still only get just under 11.5 - 12v at tick over and 13.5-14v at 5000rpm. I've checked the new rotor again and gives 5.5 ohms so looks good. I'm thinking of putting led lightbulb in the main headlight any help much appreciated. She's misfiring on cylinder 1 lust to help thing along.

From the picture, it looks like you checked the rotor directly. Check again from the connector, which will take the brushes into account as well. The brushes may be the culprit here. Also pay attention to possible rust on connector contacts.
Additionally, go ahead and replace the headlight bulb with LED anyway. The reduced load will help charging system in any case.

Thanks for the feedback, she's going into the bike shop to be tuned up and they'll check the charging as well. The brushes are new so all good there. Sounds like these bikes never had great charging from what I have learned. I'll pop led bulb in to help.

Where are you checking the voltage? I get 1-2 volts less at the headlight than the battery, haven't figured out why yet, but the battery is charging ok.
New rotor, battery, regulator and ignition switch, LED headlight.

Across the battery. I've replaced the headlight bulb with an led which has reduced the drain on the battery at idle.im thinking of replacing all the bulbs with led but I think I need to change something on the bike for them to work properly. Any advice? Cheers

Just simply upgrade your OEM relay,to a "LED" appropriate relay! It's that simple. That way, your turn-signals and emergency flashers won't flash a million miles an hour! they'll flash on and off at normal speed like a normal turn-signal does.

What voltage are you reading across the battery now that you changed the headlight bulb?
