Engine sound

hi. the motorcycle has already traveled 45,000 km . I think we 'll have to change the tensioners and chains soon . I am sure that during the analysis, more replacement parts will be used. It is difficult to buy spare parts for this model from us . That's why I want to buy an engine. let it lie in the garage for now ) . I found 3 pieces . what do you think sounds better? I have an opinion, but yours is interesting.

first , mileage 27,000 km

FWIW the tensioners and guides are still fairly easy to source...the assorted "springs" less so...

Engine sound is a good comparison if all adjustments have been done-e.g. carb balance, cam chain tension, maybe even tappets-though neglected engines tend to have close to zero clearance....
To me 3 sounds the best....bit of "rustle" but maybe not unusual for these motors....

I agree, tensioners can be found. but there will be wear on the main bearings, oil seals, valve plates , oil caps, + something else will appear. Spare parts cannot be bought from us for this motorcycle, delivery is 2 months. The summer season will be gone.repairs are expensive and you still need to find a specialist

I like the sound of the first engine. the third one also made a good sound , but the engine was opening , all on sealant .This is not good. the second one runs exactly at 900 rpm. This is also good.

Question might be why was engine 3 disassembled-seized?, knock?, enthusiast rebuild.....

Maybe wait for some further opinions then go with your head

Yes, of course. I have almost restored the original condition of the motorcycle. The only thing I want to buy is a black seat from the American version. I think it's more convenient than the Japanese version.
