I have something interesting in my 1979 CB750. In the fuse box, in the neutral and oil position, I have a 30A fuse instead of a 10A fuse. The fuse mounting point looks like it has been exposed to high temperatures. In addition, someone added an extra ground wire to the starter relay to bypass the starting circuit. The neutral gear indicator light comes on normally.
I also removed the neutral gear sensor. The resistance measurement was variable, unstable, and far from zero. I bought a new one, but it also has a resistance of 5-20 ohms. I don't understand anything (is the new sensor defective or normal?).
