When did Honda go from the original carbs. that were on the 69's to the laters? Any difference in the JDMs ?

When they replaced the individual cables with the system with lifting arms etc ?
That came in with the 1971 MY CB750K1.
Honda made a lot of noise about the new "racing type" throttle lifter system with it's dual cable "closed loop" system.
Actually the lifters look very similar to the system used on the Triumph Trident.
