Dry sump vs Wet sump 750f

Does the 80-82 750k/f use a wet sump?

Can anyone explain to me when they changed from dry sump to wet sump or vice versa? Im looking at building a cafe racer (82 cb750f) and want to avoid a model with the dry sump/oil reservoir system. Ive pretty much done all the searching i can do, and just end up with conflicting data.

Only the old sohc motor was dry sump. 78 was the last year for them.

X2. '79 the first year for the early DOHC and those were wet sump. Some few may be titled as late '78 models.

'79-83 DOHC 750, 900, 1000, 1100 all were wet sump. Bank on it.
