dohc, nighthawk,which one

I wanted to get a cb750 4 pipe bike if possible. I see the dohc started in 79. Apparently the dohc makes more power but the specs quote 67 hp on all 750s except the supersport and its a 4 into one. The nighthawk is so cool but it doesnt look like the original cb 750. But it has hydraulic valves. I bet the valves are a pain to adjust. I do not own yet but I willll soon

If you are talking about '79-'83 DOHC bikes, none of them have hydraulic valves.

The valves aren't a pain after doing it once. The valve tool is very helpful and you'll want a selection of shims so you can move them among the valves where particular thicknesses are needed.
