Diffuser in exhaust pipe seized

Just thought I would throw this question out here.
One of my diffusers in exhaust pipe is seized and will not loosen. Bolt is out.
I suspect a bad diffuser so trying to inspect.
Trying to be careful by using anti rust spray but not working, trying to avoid heat at this point.
Anyone have a similar experience....

I would not attempt to remove it unless you are willing to risk ruining the pipe. Removing these when a pipe is new is not a big deal, but after 50 years, the rust makes it a very difficult task. Be happy and leave it in. You can use an inspection camera to see inside.
