50 years ago I used to take my Dad's 1971 Honda 750 Joyriding (his pride and joy) when he and my Mom left for work. I'd take it to school and get it home before they got home. He died 16 yrs ago and my Mom told me she wanted to give me Dad's bike. I said awe Mom are you sure, bc I have two brothers and a sister. She said "you always loved that bike. I said" isn't that something, I had that bike up to a hundred miles an hour when I was 16 (over confident that she couldn't ground me as my age then was 58). She was surprised and being a loving mother she changed her MIND. Well the ol saying goes Pride goes before a fall. So she paid a boat load of money to restore it and had me get my motorcycle license then she brought herself a Goldwing Trike (she was about 82 then). So we could go riding together along with my brother Sammy sometimes. Finally I talked her to either get a different Goldwing with an automatic. Well she sold her bike, bought herself a convertible Jaguar and gave me the 750. She's 91 and still very active.
