How important is this bolt? I know all bolts have their purpose, but this is the only Bolt in the cylinder head that is directly in line with the head gasket. Dirt Digger helped me out a lot with understanding, basically, that the other cylinder head bolts are there as a guide to get compression on the the head gasket and then the 16 washers and nuts are what truly torque it down.
any help is appreciated.
thanks!

It will seep oil over time if you dont have it. You have so many stipped bolts I would be pulling the head and fixing this......bolt wouldnt be there if it wasnt needed. You have to ask yourself if you are ok with cobbling and doing a half **s job or you want it done correct.

You are correct. I did pull the head and helicoiled them all. Worked great.
