Simplicity + Riding = Enjoyment...
" 2into4 & 4into2 "
Enjoyment @ a small cost...
When you look at the diagram of the parts that go into the stock 4xCV carb set up from Honda the list is vast.
Sometimes when running fine it's great... Then something else goes out or fails then you're back chasing issues rather than enjoying your ride as intended.
Purest say "keep it stock" ...
Riders say "Let's Roll" ...
When dealing with Carburetor adjustment you better know your stuff...
CV Klein are OLD TECHNOLOGY...
Think about 4into4 each carb supplies the proper fuel air mix ratio for that cylinder to fire.
When a cylinder is under pressure to fire the other 3 cylinders are still pushing fuel towards the non-firing cylinders the CV (constant velocity) carbs have a very narrow mixture band to function normally.
Too much fuel=RICH
Too much air=LEAN.
Now with a 2into4 carb set up 1 carb shares 2 cylinders through a intake manifold which allows a wider band of fuel air mixture ratio.
This wider band allows more efficiency and better throttle response from 1000 - 9000 rpm's.
Personally I got SICK&TIRED of the CV CARBS and finally chose to purchase a 2onto4 carb set up for my 4into2 exhaust drag pipes with removable end cap baffles for quietness.
All jetting still needs to fit your cc engine.
Jetting for 750cc is different for 550cc or 900cc ect...
Remember maintaining carburetors are still the same. Drain bowls when storing use fuel stabilizer in tank when storing and a easy trick for carbs and tank is using WD-40. WD=WATER DISPLACEMENT.
1) "SPRAY DIRECTLY INTO FUEL LINE & TURN ENGINE OVER UNTIL INTERNAL PARTS OF CARBS ARE SATURATED".
2) "SPRAY DIRECTLY INTO TANK TO PREVENT RUSTING DURING STORAGE".
Tip; put a curve in the spray tube upwards to spray inside top of tank. Not much is needed just enough to coat the tank.
Seal Tank with cap & walk away.
Your Spring Wake Up Start Up will be effortless with fresh fuel.
