I have the HM300 pipes from a '73 CB750. They are in pretty good condition, but need re-chroming.
I can't find anyone who will touch them. they all say the carbon inside the pipes will contaminate their chemical baths.
I am thinking about cutting out the baffle tube inside..somehow, and then try sandblasting the inside of the pipes.
Any thoughts?
Yamiya750 has no stock on their reproduction pipes.
I'd really like to use the originals.

Your bike should have HM341 pipes, If you have genuine original hm300 then they are off of an earlier bike, but a very good find....., the hm341 which had several differnt numbers of internal baffling and didnt use the glass pack type insert that was used in the original hm300's "New" hm300 are not built like the early original Hm300 pipes. The repro's typically have an extra baffle inside that the originals dont.
