cb750 exaust question

hello all, I have a cb750. and I plan to put it in a lawnmower, I know, bad idea. but I got it with no exhaust. I know it's bad to run it with no exhaust at all, but could I start it up for a few seconds on some break clean? and do I need a muffler? if so I'll have to figure out an exhaust, can I buy flanges and make my own exhaust, my dad owns a auto shop and he has a nice exhaust bender, I may use that if I can

Yup. You can start and run it w no exhaust. It won't hurt anything. Just don't expect it to run well or really idle at all without back pressure.

Straight pipes will work but you gotta tune it for em. As far as flanges, Look up CycleX's website, I'm sure they have some options.
