Hi
New guy about to buy a CB750F to restore, wonder if someone could help me identify a bike from its Vin Number.
Its supposed to be a CB750F 1980 and has KPMH speedo so guessing European

Vin number is RC04-10139xx (All the documents Ive found so far say cb750f numbers start from RC04- 2000001)
Engine number is RC01E-41029xx which I think makes it a CB750K. Are there major differences between the K and F engines?

Really appreciate any help, dont want to buy unless the numbers make sense

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply - A bit more info that might help someone else. I think my chassis is a Japanese bike. Based on using cmsnl.com who allow you to put a vin number in to search for parts. And they recognise RC04-101 as HONDA CB750F 1980 (A) JAPAN RC04-101. And I think Japs use KPH speedos. After extensive searching it was the only website I could find that recognised the RC04-1
