Hi all. Just bought my first CB750 Super Sport which is in need of some work and figured it would be good to get some help as I start this project. I bought it as a 1977 Super Sport which should designate it as an F2 although upon looking on line and in the Haynes manual it seems that the bike I bought does not have the right spec and I would like advice as to what people think is its correct designation - important when looking for spare parts.

The carbs pictured below were on the bike and appear to be off an earlier model (I need to replace them due to one of the float pin posts broken).

The frame number is 1036632 and the engine number is CB750E 2559182 and has front and rear disc break with 4 into 1 exhaust.

Any thoughts / help very much appreciated.

I suggest getting a genuine honda manual, the haynes and clymer manuals are some of the worst manuals, they have inaccuracies and wrong specs and overall I dont trust the info in them.
I've always said that the Haynes and Clymer manuals contain just enough information to get an average mechanic in trouble. Goes for the car manuals as well as the bike ones.
