Hi

I just bought a Honda CB 750 k rc01 1982.
It looked very ugly with its front and windshield.

So I removed it and trying to get it to look as near original as I can.
There's a rod attached to the steering rack. My guess it's for mounting a headlight but can be wrong. Attaching pictures of it.

How does the mount and headlight actually look like? So I know what I need to search for.

Also, it contains very old fuel which I want to drain. How do I do that easiest?

The rear view mirrors, is it the same for left and right or are they different? I found replicas but doesn't say if it's left or right.

Thanks.

I'd keep that fairing, it is an OEM one and you can likely get some good money for it. The rod of course removes.

Mirrors are commonly right and left but not all.

You remove the fuel line at petcock and then add a length of line to drain tank.

Regular K parts for headlight.............

https://www.partzilla.com/catalog/honda/motorcycle/1982/cb750k-a-750-four-k/headlight

You can back up through that website to choose turn signals too to find the front end parts you need for the fronts.

Original mirrors are not left or right specific. The mirror turns completely around on the stem so they can be used on either side.
