Hi,
Building a bike from a CB 750 F2 1998. Just wanted to share the project.
Started with new sub frame and exhaust:
Found a nice visual point. Still no driving. No pedals or lights.
Latest iteration
Pedals on, lights working except brake and position light. Wire harness is a mess... looking to be my next task if I can't fix it. Got my self a girlfriend as well so threw on a passenger seat.
From behind:
Completely in love with this bike. Sits so well on the street. Sounds great. Feels great. Driving position is great. Scary and perfect.
Not sure if to paint it or just let it be, i'm really liking the naked steel and rust. Just don't want the frame to randomly brake at 120.
Also does not go much over 120 km/h. Don't need to, but want to have it there when i need to be there.
Things left to do:
* New electric wire
* Fix whatever causes low top speed. Probably carb tune needed or leak in gasket.
* Rear brake new oil tube and connection
* Rear oil canister welded something to attach on frame (currently held by wire)
* Better battery box (currently held on with a belt)
* Have oil shooting out somewhere from the left cylinder between top and cylinder. Probably new gasket needed
* Might paint it
Really fun project. Had 0 experience of building bikes when started, got help with the welds but really all it takes is imagination.
