I've got a cast alloy front wheel that I want to refinish.
I found this damage on one of the cast spokes.
Right where it should have a polished metal edge on the spoke.
Can anyone please recommend a repairer who knows how to repair this safely ?
I could TIG weld it at work, but I'm wondering if these wheels are heat treated after the casting process, or anything similar that would be upset by the heat of welding.
Engine cases don't worry me, but obviously a wheel breaking up could have serious consequences for my life expectancy.
