carbys leaking when running

Hi newbie here I have a 81 cb750 bike was running but when got hot would stall. did comp test results not good, had head reconditioned honed bores rebuild carbys. bike running ok but when running fuel leaks out overflow tubes. When bike not running petcock on carbys do not leak have i reassemble carbys wrong.

Just guessing here...

I'm assuming that when the bike is not running, even though the petcock is on, no gas is coming to the carbs because the gas will flow only when there's vacuum to the "auxiliary" shutoff. Sorry, I don't know the correct name for it.

As for the overflowing with the bike running, I'd suspect bad float needles or incorrect float height.
