Hi I have a 1979 750f super sport and I can’t get the bike to run right but after reading a lot of the stuff on here I need to get new exhaust mine was leaking so bad and I just clamped them and it stopped the leak and its performance so I need exhaust. I figure a four into one, but I don’t want the noise and then I have to redo all my carbs and re-sync them cause I messed them all up trying to make them work. What exhaust is best or does anybody have any suggestions? I would appreciate it, and then any tips on sinking the carbs I appreciate any feedback thanks

A 4 into 1 exhaust doesn't have to be loud. They work great performance wise. As for your carbs, if it's not running right then you probably need to start over. It is quite common for first timers to struggle with their carb rebuilding skills. Did you use quality carb kits? If you are buying from places like Amazon then that is your first mistake. What method did you use to synchronize the carbs? If they are out of sync it won't run right.

Thanks yes Amazon was the first mistake I had a friend who is a Honda certified mechanic sync, the carbs that was a while back and I messed with them so yeah, any suggestions on pipes or brand? I just want the bike to run thanks for helping out

'79, eh? Stock carbs? Stock air box or pod filters? Pod filters don't work worth a crap on the CV carbs. I've got a Delkevic 4 into 1 exhaust on my '79 CB750K Ltd. Nice and mellow at idle but will definitely sound off when you get on it. Didn't require messing with the carbs at all when I installed it.

When you say "I messed with them" what does that mean? Did you have them apart after your friend synced them? As Old Crow mentioned the Delkevic exhaust works good.
