I recently acquired a 1970 CB750 in good condition and fairly original. The VIN is 1043xxx, and it was manufactured in July 1970. It seems this year is a transition period with elements from both the K0 and K1 models, from what I understand.

I'm working on restoring it to as original a state as possible, and I'm currently having trouble identifying the correct carburetor model. The bike has carbs with the casting number "064A," which I believe may be from a 75/76 CB750F or CB750 K5. According to specs I've found (motorcycleproject and hondachopper), the correct casting numbers for the 1970-74 CB750 should be "B750A" and "7A."

Can anyone confirm if the carb casting should be specifically "B750A" or "7A" given the production date? Additionally, if you have any recommendations on where to find detailed information about this particular model and its production specifics, I would greatly appreciate it.

When the 69-70 model years were produced they weren't referred to as K0, just CB750. Honda didn't start calling or referring to those model years as K0 till much later on -, around the mid 70's if I recall.

In the first post, there's an attached picture of the carburetors the bike currently has. They don't resemble the ones you posted, as they don't use the four individual cables. The ones there are definitely incorrect for the year - the casting number 064A suggests they are from a K5 or a 1975/76 CB750F.

My question is given the bike's VIN 1043xxx and production date of July 1970, which carburetor casting would it have originally: B750A or 7A?

The correct carbs are cable operated and a real pain to sync.I'm not sure of the numbers but Honda went to the linkage carbs in 1971. I own a 1970 CB750 (built 12/69) with 71 carbs that were installed in 1972 by my dad. I worked on these at a dealer back then in 1973. That is a stunning example you have there BTW.

I have 2 sets of 4 cable style CB750 carburetors and 2 sets of K3-K5 carbs. If you're interested reply here or text me at 269-660-1811. I also have lots of other CB750K parts available.

I am looking for some carbs for my 1970 cb750 ko
I still have the 2 sets of CB750 One Throttle Cable INTO Four Cables Carburetors. But this Style of Carbs are Very Hard to Keep Synchronized, which is why I changed my '69-'70 CB750 over to 2-Cable, Push/Pull Throttle Setup with the Mechanical Linkage. My phone number is 269-660-1811 in SW Michigan. Please leave me a Text Message IF you are interested and we can negotiate a price that is fair to Both of Us.

Here is a break down of which went where

Hi Hinksy, What is JN in your chart? I'll have to have another look at mine I'm sure the mains were 110 when I stripped and cleaned them.

Loki
Loki , it`s jet needle and the clip position . 110`s are what I am using also and you should be alright as you have an aftermarket pipe . I am going to see how the bike goes over a bit of time as I may raise my needle a knotch so I have a fatter midrange for the 836 and pipe
