Carb Shaft Spring

i recently dissembled carbs from a cb750k 81 and the spring that you slide onto the shaft of carbs 1 and 2 to connect to the shaft of 3-4 so they sync up was unusable. i cannot find this spring anywhere. Does anyone know a supplier or the dimensions of it?

I'm serious about this. Go to YouTube and watch some of those guys making springs. Then go to the hardware stores in your area to find a similar spring to the one you need, I think you're talking about that torsion spring. Watch those guys on YouTube make torsion springs with a wooden mandrel. If you cannot find a torsion spring similar to the one that you need or one that you can modify to work you can make a torsion spring from a regular spring with the same diameter and wire thickness. I've done this twice lately.

When I went to do this I was shocked at how many different spring variations these little hardware stores had in stock. Altering one of these springs to work might be hit or miss at first but hey, they're cheap.
