I want to set my carb fuel levels by the clear tube method (1976 CB750F1)
The one YouTube clip I watched suggests just removing the drain plug and then stuffing a length of clear plastic tube into the threaded hole.
Not good engineering, I'm thinking, not only leak prone, but also likely to restrict the flow in the plastic tube and give a false reading.
What's needed (IMHO) is a screw in plug with a nipple for the clear tube.
Just wondering if anyone sells anything suitable ?
The alternative would seem to involve buying a length of modellers brass tube, then drilling a spare drain plug, and using epoxy resin glue to fix a short length of brass tube in place
