Just wondering. If you have rebuilt or bought carbs for your vintage CB750. Is there anything you would do differently?

Different as far as what? Try to stay with oem carb parts if you can. Many aftermarket carb parts are out of tolerance and lead to tuning and running issues.

Purchasing carbs would likely be expensive. I hate working on carbs but I have gotten pretty good at it. Take lots of pictures during disassembly and as dirtdigger indicated, use Honda parts as much as possible, especially the rubber bits. I try to reuse the original brass parts since many of them are NLA from Honda and the aftermarket brass is often out of spec.

Download Mac Gregor carb cleaning manual. Read it again and again it’s very informative I had never seen the inside of a carb and couldn’t have done the rebuild without it. This has been my winter project.
Bought 80 cb750 in November 24 that was not registered since 2011. If I can rebuild them I am sure you can.

I bought a set of gummed up carbs for my 76/77 F1 to clean up for a spare set, they turned out better than my originals so will probably use them instead!

Now that’s some good luck
Stole the carbs for £86.50 including delivery and had enough O rings left over from rebuilding my original carbs so apart from time, a bit of acetone to disolve the gum and a bit of time in the ultrasonic bath I now have a good set of carbs for my project.Now that’s some good luck

Cleaning up a spare set of carbs sure sounds ideal. I could replace the original with rebuilt, and still be able to put the original back in case the my rebuild of the spare is botched. Now, gents, can I buy a used complete set for my '80 CB750K? Oh? you have one in your back pocket? Nice! Only 25$ bucks? free shipping to Florida? You don't say! SOLD! Or Best Offer?

I converted 86 British Pounds and got about $115 U.S. - LOKI - Does that seem accurate? If so, .....
Keep looking they usually turn up when you're looking for something else entirely! Looks about right for your conversion.
