Camshaft Dowell Pins location by size

Dear People:

I have tow measures of Dowell Pins in the Camshafts . 23 are 8*20.5 and only 1 different 8*26: I do not find clear where this one is located. I investigate carefully the manual and the Clymer Book and I am not sure. I would appreciate some help.

Pretty sure it goes in one side of the cam cap that drives tach gear. The recess where it goes should be deeper thinking front.

You are totally right. The recess is deeper. It goes in the tach gear cap facing spark plugs.
