That hole worn through can be repaired. Find someone in your area that does tig welding and see what they say. It can be filled and built up with weld. That chain must have been making a hell of a racket.
Got these barrels second hand ,
engine on the bike same condition so I can see how I can repair with out losing engine,
Can’t get tig welder in not enough space to get ceramic head in, I was thinking maybe epoxy metal, has anyone tried it?
Open to suggestions
Thanks
You know there are narrow space TIG tip's available, also why can't rubb through hole be filled from outside!?
If I understand, your main goal is to plug the hole, correct!?
Something like this might work. You could make a nice aluminum "patch" and glue it on. Just make sure both the patch and the surface area are super clean. As Brett said you could try and aluminum braze it if you can't get a tig torch in there. https://www.3mcanada.ca/3M/en_CA/p/d/v000088306/
