Caliper grease?

What type of caliper grease should I use when rebuilding caliper? I have the heavy black brake grease by CRC

What are you trying to grease? There are no slides on the sohc caliper.... caliper grease is only used for slides.

The caliper inside where the piston slides. The sides of the piston housing

No you dont put any lube on the piston other than a little brake fluid when it goes back together. If you put grease in there it will contaminate the system and start ruining seals.

I looked at the service manual and it shows you are correct. I was looking T the schematic of the caliper wrong. It does say to use a little silicone grease just on the pads only.
