I'd like to remove my rear fender and the chrome bar that wraps around the rear of the seat. Unfortunately, this also removes the stock mount points for the brake light and turn signals. Are there any easy mounting options to get them back on? I'm trying to only make reversisble changes, so adding a frame loop isn't a route I want to take.

Easy? Depends on your definition of easy. You can buy thin aluminum bar stock at most hardware stores and drill holes in it to make mounting brackets for all kinds of stuff. That's not terribly difficult.

Off-the-shelf bracketing basically doesn't exist though, so it's not that easy.

It might be easiest to adopt aftermarket brake lights and turn signals which might give you better mounting options.

Hi! I'm in the middle of the same project and same bike 1981 Honda CB750k.

Can anyone share pictures of what they did? I took the big chrome rear fender off and looking to put something a bit more slick.
