Battery Issue

New to site and need some insight on issue. 73 CB750 with battery that will not keep charge. Stator checked out OK and have replaced rectifier/regulator combo. Battery is about 4 months old. Fully charged battery will be down to about 12.2 volts a week later. Will add that I only get out to ride about 10 to 15 miles weekly. Can a bad negative battery connection possibly be causing issue? Stumped! Thanks for any feedback.

Hi, a reading of 12.2volts after sitting isn't that bad, a 12v battery at rest will drop to a bit over 12v when resting, as long as it shows 13.6 - 14.2 volts when running at 1500 revs or so you don't have a problem.
