I just hate paying good money for cheap junk !
Only about nine months ago I bought new fuel pipe in order to get my F1 and K4 (ish)
hybrid ( a sort of unholy union of K1 and K4 parts) , up and running.
This fuel pipe was supposed to be top quality neoprene, and totally ethanol proof.
Well today I finally got the K4 thing running ( at last), but my "quality " fuel pipe is rotten and shredding.
I've read about people paying silly money for a length of genuine Honda fuel pipe, and I thought they were nuts.
Now I'm not so sure anymore.
Forty years ago almost every motorcycle dealership would carry a stock of decent quality fuel pipe, sold by the yard.
Now you can't seem to find decent stuff anywhere.
Any suggestions for something that won't fester in months ?

I've had good luck with the vinyl fuel tubing from Oreilly, of all places. Holds up to the junk 87oct we have here, I think they're trying to sneak E15 in on us... Napa may have some as well. Ask for Gates Barricade (which is reinforced black nitrile rubber), or see if they have vinyl tubing like lawn equipment uses in the size you want. They usually keep sizes up to 3/8" in stock at my LAPS.

Many thanks !
I thought that O'Reilly only operated in the US, but a quick Google search reveals apparently 500 stores in the UK.
Well TBH, I've never seen one yet.
Worth a try at least

You need R9 spec hose which withstands ethanol and is high pressure rated for fuel injection, I use this on all my classic cars and bikes, I've bought it on Amazon and Ebay, beware of sellers passing off R6 as suitable for E fuels but it is not!

Thanks.
Yeah I think my seller was one of those deliberately mis-describing cheap pipe as quality stuff.
I'll buy the next lot from somewhere with a good reputation

Look for names like Gates and Agoma I've used both without any issues, on fleabay planet silicone and online parts direct I've used as well, main thing is R9 and don't let anyone try to tell you R6 is just as good it's not it might last a while but sitting on top of a hot engine will kill it.
