Carb rebuild kits from China.
Allegedly for CB750 K1 to K6
I've just received a set this morning, and, while I'm not expecting them to be perfect, for the price (£26 from a UK stockist), I really don't care.
If only 50% of what is there stands up to muster, I've still got a bargain I reckon.
I'm just wondering if anyone on here has used a set of these yet, and what the results were ?
I've just noticed that there aren't any float pivot pins included, and a couple of mine are bent.

Looks very much like the kit I just had from China but mine had the float pivot pins, princely sum of £17.15 post free from China! not sure what material the needles are looks like aluminium but look OK dimensionally compared to OEM. Idle mixture screws are for the earlier type of carbs.

Loki

I figure that if half of it is usable it's still good value.
I seem to have a mixture of F1 and K2 carb parts at the moment so I guess I'll just have to mix and match until I get something that works

I bought a set like that from eBay for my gpz750 and the only thing that fit was the bowl gasket.

Sometimes there jets will be different in size and going by that , I would say that the needles , emulsion tubes and air jets or floats could all be different . If you swap all as one you should have all the same , but whether it is correct remains to be seen . Things like rubber o-rings could be suspect aswell , fuel resistant rubber isnt a priority in china it seems . If you can afford it original keihin parts are best

Hmmmm.

The main reason I bought the kit was to get the float bowl gaskets and O rings.

Now I'm wondering if they will dissolve in ethanol

Finally finished my carb rebuild today.
Got the old beast running at last.
I've only used the float bowl gaskets, float valves and floats out of the Chinese rebuild kits.
That was bad enough.
Didn't let any fuel through on three of the carbs.
After much jiggery pokery, it turned out that the pattern brass float jets were taller than the Keihin originals, and were fouling the float pivots.
Solution I settled for was to remove the float jets and use my angle grinder to linish a chamfer on the hexagon bit.
Seems to have worked out OK.
I dread to think what the other bits would fit like.

Had the same sort of problem with my F2 . Whoever did work on it before me put in floats that were wrong , no amount of playing around would let me adjust the height right . And the float valves had the weakest springs in them that all the carbs overflowed continually . Just managed to get some good condition original ( I hope ) PD41`s , so here`s hoping I can get some good bits in them to swap and I can finally get mine running right
