Anyone else go on motocamping trips? I've mostly done motocamping trips in Europe and Japan. I have four different tent setups, each one has advantages/disadvantages. I don't bring any cooking gear, I'll usually go to a restaurant or convenient store for food/drinks. The coldest I've camped in is 25 degrees Fahrenheit. My longest motocamping trip has been Germany to Norway, it was a 2060 miles round trip adventure.

Here are some of my camping equipment,

I've done it a couple times, but it's been a while. Back when I rode a Suzuki GS500E I took trips to Florida and Texas and motocamped. When I went to Florida I discovered the fantastic world of hammock camping...in the summer I'm never going back to a tent!

Done everything from 2-up on a chopped Triumph with a couple of sleeping bags and a tarp to my wife and I on a pair of Harley dressers with me pulling a trailer full of camping gear. Too old for that now and my wife passed. Got rid of all the Harley stuff and moved full-time into my motor home (I'm not doing a tent ever again, either). Then I bought my vintage CB750 because I couldn't stand being without a bike.

Understandable, that’s why I’m doing motocamping while I’m young and in good health to do so.
