I attached 3 pics of a plate with a slotted hole at the end, just hanging off a loose bolt on the forks. Any ideas? Dooflickus? Whatchamajigger? Thanks

That does not look original. Honda doesn't use bolts like that.

Not factory I see no reason to leave it,, cant think of any reason to have anything attached to the front that moves with the forks

It kind of looks like where the clip for the wiring harness should be (item 3 in the attched), however, it also looks like someone has drilled the hole right through the yoke as the orinal threaded hole is blind.
