Firstly, forgive me for this not being specifically about our 750 DOHC bikes but I’ve recently started putting a bike together for my 15 soon to be 16 year old son. I chose the CT110 (Postie bike in Australia) mainly because I’ve never really done a full restoration and these thinks are probably the simplest things to get started on.

So, what I would really like some suggestions on is what Honda 4 stroke would be a good foundation for a scrambler off road bike. Nothing too rare as I don’t want to soend crazy money finding parts. I’m open to different engines and different frames if they work.
I’m not doing enduro or motor cross. More like fire trails, gravel, at a decent speed say 100km max give or take.

If you’ve done one already please send a photo.

Thanks for any feedback.

I’ll add a photo of my 750 to sign off.

On the tank

No I have had a few issues getting carbs to balance. Guy I bought the bike off didn’t really know much. I’ve been learning a lot and I refuse to take her to the bike shop.

Should be back on this weekend
Wait'll you get to be 73 years old. Taking the bike to the shop won't be such an issue then. :laugh2:
