I have a 96 CB750 with 22k miles - looking for any advise on how to turn it to a scrambler/adventure bike
What I’ve done:
I cut the tail, RFY back shocks, back/front light, made a seat & side panels, but that’s about it so far.
What I want:
FRONT FORKS:
Looking for any advise on what’s worked and what hasn’t as far as front fork conversions (possibly something slightly taller than the GSXR or r6?)
WHEELS:
Any conversions for the rear tire that can give me spoked wheels and ability to upgrade that back drum brake to 2 disks?
BRAKES
Need to upgrade from single disk front & back drum. Open to all alternatives
EXHAUST
Eventually I want a 4/1 but I’d like to see how it rides and sounds when I take out baffles and / or cut pipes.
CARBS / AIRBOX VS POD FILTERS
POD filters or leave the Airbox? Ik rejetting seems to be a rabbit hole do the filters make that easier or harder
Planning 80/20 road, off road adventure bike riding. My inspiration is something like the walking dead bike with a mad max / Indiana jones feel. I want it to be functional and on a budget. Like a modernized retro scrambler
