I don't have a pic. There is a document that describes the whole procedure but I can't find it anymore. I have a pdf copy of it but not sure how i can post it here. If you know how I can send it to you let me know. Basically, the problem is usually a bad solder connection (from the factory) on one of the clock springs. There are 2 springs separated by a black plastic disk. It's the bottom spring where it is soldered on the inside - you can't see it unless you take it all apart. to get to it, you have to desolder the springs and open the unit. It's not that hard to do once you understand the process. The soldering itself will requuire a steady hand becuse it's a very small point. I had to open and do my tach twice to get it right. BTW, you can open the metal tach case without breaking or cutting it by just prying the crimped edge open slowly until it is completely uncrimped. Then re-crimp when done.
Edit: Just realized you can attach a file. Here it is. (fyi: the needle can be hard to remove. unscrew the plastic dial first and don't put direct pressure on it when prying on the needle or you may crack it) gl.
