Hello everyone,

I have an 81 CB750c that’s sat for about a year, before storage she started up just fine.

The bike will want to turn over with no key in ignition and kill switch off.

I’m hoping it’s just a short in the starter relay solenoid and or a dead kill switch.

Where do I start with this?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I'd check your ignition switch first. The bike shouldn't crank with it in the off position.
Unfortunately it can be very difficult to access the pins. Honda intentionally put the ignition switch plug in a very awkward place to deter would-be thieves from hotwiring the harness. It's also a pain to remove the switch for the same theft-deterrent reasons.

If I remember right it's normal for these bikes to crank with the kill switch off as all it does is interrupt the spark circuit, not the starter circuit.
