Hello, I bought a 1981 cb750c in November. Complete bike, all 4 carbs were together, in a box. Took float bowls off, cleaned everything, replaced a couple jets, all 4 main gaskets and float bowl drain screw o-rings all from Chinese carb rebuild kits that the previous owner had for the bike already. Installed carbs, bike started fine but float bowls are leaking from drain screws and main gaskets and one of the brass screws near float bowls. I'm assuming, based on my very limited knowledge, that the cheap gaskets and o-rings are bad. But what about the brass screw near the bowl? Thanks for the help.

i bought carb seals etc for my carbs and then took the lot to a carb specialist. he refused to use the stuff i had bought and put genuine honda stuff in. it sounds like your float needles are not shutting down the petrol flow or the new floats are not up to standard and the float level is to high. also there are small o rings that could be missing or perished in that screw you mention. if you mean the small screws underneath on all the carbs they should have o rings
