Got the right petcock, I want to use a fuel filter so I made this long two piece fuel line. Will this work? Or should I shorten it to directly flow downwards
As long as any air in the line can travel back to the tank, you're fine. But I would shorten it. I put a similar filter on my 81 750 and there was just enough fuel line length to go straight to the carb. Everything was neatly tucked away.
