78 engine disassembly - bottom bolt?

Having trouble with one bolt on the bottom of the motor - see pic

It has come undone enough to make the washer loose but now won’t budge either direction?!

I don’t want to strip it either way

Should it just remove like any other bolt?
Cannot see it having something inside the motor holding in place as it seems to just pull the centre of the motor halves together

Just keep trying? Apply heat? Going to apply hear and see…

Nothing special about the bolt it should come right out. It is one of the main bearing bolts so it would be pretty hard to get heat on it that far in. If it doesnt turn any diretion the threads are already messed up. you could try some penetrant and try working it see if it will loosen up. if it doesnt loosen up I would cut the head off the bolt and finish splitting the case then work on it closer to the threads. You may end up stripping the threads and then fixing it at that point.
