Any advice would be appreciated, 76 CB 750, 13k miles, clean, runs great.
When first started, putting it in gear, it wants to jump when in gear. Usually after the second try, the clutch releases, works perfectly after it gets rolling.
I’m running Castrol 30w, did not appear to help.
Removed the right side cover, adjusted the center clutch rod to spec.
Any ideas?

Has it been sitting awhile? It sounds like one of your clutch plates are sticking. If sitting awhile it could work its self out with use. Otherwise you might have to pull the clutch for inspection.

Actually I ride it weekly. The previous owner said he had replaced the clutch. It had been smooth, seemed to be functioning correctly.
Now it’s doing what I described.
Not sure of the clutch manufacturer or supplier.
