Working my 81 750 SuperSport. I have a 4 to 1 exhaust on it, and Im curious if I have to do any internal carb work to match the new flow? Any thoughts or guidance on this?

I put Delkevic 4 to 1 on my 82 and have not changed anything. Bike is running perfect.
Same here on one of my 750 Customs. I don't really care for the sound and the header pipes are all kinds of dark colors. But the bike runs great with rebuilt carbs, using original brass, that were carefully bench synched only. Original airbox, of course. Plugs have looked just right.

I must say that my experience is different. My bike is super sport and sound of exhaust is in my opinion very fitting to this model. Also I have not experience any discoloration on the headers.
In short, I love this exhaust!

My current 750L has a 4 into 2 exhaust. I wasn't a big fan of the sound when I first got the bike, but the more I ride the bike the better it sounds to me. That, and the fact that a 4 into 4 exhaust for a DOHC bike is harder to find than almost everything else on the bike.
