Hi, I've got a 1979 CB 750K, from The NEtherlands and it came with 2 into 1 exhaust on each side. I love the 4 into 4 one more and wonder where should I look for one and what are the parts that I would need to replace the 2 into 1 with 4 into 1?

Benjiescaferacers made me a pair of custom 4 into 2. He also makes 4 into 4, they wont look exactly like the originals of course.

Looks like you have original headers. If they are original you could do your own DIY slip on conversion. I recently replaced the stock mufflers with some cheap 17-1/2" mufflers. It was fairly easy. It took some 1-1/2" stainless tube cut to fit between the headers and mufflers, clamps, high temp red muffler sealer, reducers to fit. I used the stock muffler bracket that fastens to the footpeg frame area. Looks like you may not have that stock muffler bracket anymore. I'm happy with this exhaust, runs good, sounds good, looks good. I bought the Delkevic stainless 4 into 1 for one bike, don't like it, waste of $450.

Sounds interesting, have you a picture please?

I'm no closer to finding an original style 4 into 4 exhaust for my 79 KZ RC01 and have even tried to establish whether a CB750k could fit but apparently not due to different header to underframe height and exhaust outlet angles. Now wondering one of the 4 into 4 kits for the retro style air-cooled cb1100 could fit, anybody got knowledge please?

If not I can see me trying mrtwowheel's idea of original downpipes (restored) with aftermarket original style mufflers

I would second that idea. I'm not sure about this, but I would think the 900 cylinder heads are bigger than the 750, and for that reason the exhaust wouldn't fit.

Very nice looking bike!!
I am looking for a 4 into 2 sytem for my 1980 CB750F supersport if you were looking to sell yours.
Not sure if they will fit mine plus shipping to Australia may be prohibitive.
Considered Delkivic but not sure about those.
Good luck with sourcing your 4 into 4,s

My DIY 4 into 4 slip on mufflers. Those are stock headers with the mufflers cut off, ebay mufflers, 1-1/2" tube, clamps, reducers and red goo.
The stock muffler brackets put the mufflers in the right positions and it was a straight shot from the mufflers to the headers. Never would have dreamed it would be that simple. I like everything about them. I'm a happy guy.

Brilliant! Thank you for taking the time to reply and take pics, much appreciated. I think you have a great looking solution and is the way I'll go đź‘Ť
