Can anyone give me a brief heads up on what's available please ?
Silvers are selling two different (unnamed by them) brands.
One type is £400+VAT dearer than the other, and the only difference I'm noting is the expensive ones have removable baffles.
I really haven't been able to find much information about them regarding origin, quality, fit etc.
Or whether I'd be better off sourcing them from elsewhere.
Anyone done a review of any sort ?

Not sure about what DSS sells but when I was looking for pipes for my K4, I knew I wanted the earlier 300 or "No-No." style w the removable baffles rather than the HM341s that are correct for my bike. That was purely a sound preference - baffles in without fiber wrap sound better than the later multi chamber pipes, imo.

When shopping around I noticed some sites listed a country of origin. Some were Japan, others were Italy, and I believe there might have been another. As far as I could tell, the Japanese pipes are from the maker of the ones Yamiya sells, and the cheaper Italian ones are the Busso pipes which have been a disaster from the get go.
I ordered a set of No-nos straight from Yamiya and couldn't be any happier w them.

Thanks for that!
I've had experience of Italian chrome in the past, namely the Radelli rim on the front of my old CB360G, retrofitted with the K4 drum brake.
You couldn't really call it a chrome rim, although there were patches of chrome here and there.
Obviously more research is needed here on my part

The Busso pipe issue was a whole deal. Pre orders delayed, fitment and quality issues, etc. I've heard they sell all sorts of other model exhausts and people seem generally happy w them.
I got to that part on my restoration right around when people were getting screwed on their orders so I avoided them. Yamiya also happened to have restocked another batch of theirs shortly after, so I jumped on those knowing their commitment to quality and customer service.

I think CMSNL sells all the variations of the HM3xx pipes and lists the countries of origin.
